Mr. Kendrick Foster is entering his 16th year in education and his 13th year of dedicated service to GPISD.
 
In 2014, Mr. Foster joined Grand Prairie ISD at the Young Men’s Leadership Academy, where he served as a 7th Grade math teacher, mathematics department head, and administrative intern. During his four years at YMLA, he developed a strong foundation in instructional leadership and student-centered practices.
 
Mr. Foster began his full-time administrative career in 2017 as an assistant principal at Truman Middle School, where he served for six years. He then spent three years as an assistant principal at South Grand Prairie High School, supporting students, staff, and families while helping lead campus initiatives focused on academic achievement, student engagement, and school culture.
 
Most recently, Mr. Foster served as the interim principal at Bill Arnold Middle School in Spring 2026, where he had the privilege of leading the campus community and working closely with students, staff, and families to foster a positive learning environment and a culture of growth.
 
Mr. Foster earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of North Texas and completed his Principal Certification through Lamar University.
 
Mr. Foster is honored to serve as the principal of Jackson Middle School and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, families, and the community to ensure every student is challenged, supported, and empowered to achieve success both academically, socially, and emotionally.
