How
can my student arrange to speak to a counselor?
Depending on the situation, your child may want
to ask the teacher for a pass to the counseling office.
The best time for the student to make this request is the last
15-20 minutes of the class period, when students are more likely to
be working independently. Otherwise,
students are welcome to stop by the counseling office during passing
period and quickly sign in on the clipboard beside the counselors’ doors.
We will then send a pass to class for the student. We encourage
students to come and tell us immediately if their concern involves the
health or safety of a person.
Parents may also call the counseling office to schedule an appointment.
