I am a native of Northeast Louisiana. I graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in Elementary Education. I've had the pleasure of teaching grades Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. At the present, I am one of the 6th grade ELA teachers here at Jackson Middle School. Beginning my career in early childhood has helped mold my versatile teaching style in a major way. Through my 22 years of teaching experience, I have learned that students learn and retain information better by doing. I am a very hands-on teacher with an array of teaching strategies. My goal is to target each student in the way that they learn.
