Mr. Martin was born and raised in Lubbock, TX where he graduated from Coronado High School.  He went on to attend Texas Tech University and graduate with a degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry.  Mr. Martin was brought to the metroplex area by accepting an Animal Keeper position with the Dallas Zoo.  While working at the zoo, he continued his education by attending The University of Texas at Arlington's graduate program in Secondary Education.  He began teaching Eighth Grade Science at Jackson Middle School in the fall of 2003.
