Ms. Lawrence began working as a legal secretary to an attorney in Grapevine. However, the call of teaching was strong and in 1979 she began teaching in the Grand Prairie ISD at Lee Middle School. After a few years at Lee and a few years at Truman, she found a home at Jackson Middle School. She has taught English, Social Studies and Drama before settling on computers and technology. She is now the technology facilitator at Jackson and enjoys helping teachers and students acquire skill in the use of all our new technology equipment.
