English Language Arts  Activities

EXTRA CREDIT OPTION:  Students were given a 6 piece pie chart and can complete six books from six different genres to complete the chart.  Each slice of pie must be a different genre.  The information needed for each book is: title and genre, Rated by *****, why you did or did not like the book and would you recommend it to others.

Due to the nature of the district's new curriculum, it is next to impossible for me to put daily assignments on the website.  It is a good idea for your student to get in the habit of writing down assignments and due dates in their agendas.  If you child is not doing this it would be conducive to discuss the importance of staying organized.  You can also email me at Mary.getty@gpisd.org if you have any questions or concerns.
