Family  With three boys and a wonderful husband, I stay plenty busy. The only pet I have at home, is my 13 year-old Maltese, Merlin.  |

I like to read, scrapbook, and quilt in my spare time. I am also Cubmaster for my sons' Cub Scout Pack. |

Education
I grew up in Grand Prairie and went to various Grand Prairie schools. I attended Zavala, Florence Hill and Dickinson Elementary Schools. I then went on to Truman Middle School and South Grand Prairie High School. After graduation, I attended Texas A & M University and earned a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an Early Childhood Emphasis. Basically, I can teach K-6, all subjects. Since then I have added Secondary Math to my certification and plan to add 4-8 Generalist this year.

Teaching Experience
3 years of Kindergarten at Bowie Elementary 2 years at South Grand
Prairie High School teaching Algebra, Keystone (a Freshman Orientation
class) and Computer Programming. After a four year hiatus with twins (I taught preschool for a couple of years) I taught 5th grade at Dickinson for 2 years.
