Spanish IA

This course introduces students to Spanish vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, basic dialogues, and basic sentence patterns. Through various classroom activities, students observe and experience Spanish culture. This course with Spanish IB in the eighth grade and a passing grade on the final exam will earn high school credit for Spanish I.

Spanish IB

This course is a continuation of Spanish IA. Skills and concepts in listening, speaking, reading, and writing are stressed; however, major emphasis is given to oral communication. Upon successful completion of both of theses courses, as well as a passing score on the final exam, students will receive High School credit for Spanish I. Spanish IA is a prerequisite for this course.
