RAT SNAKES
by Linda George

My book review is about RAT SNAKES and the author is Linda George. She wrote many books on snakes such as cobras, copperheads, pythons, and many more.
This is a true story about rat snakes that live in jungles. There are many rat snakes that live in the jungle like the black rat snake, Texas rat snake, and the yellow rat snake. More than two thousand three hundred snakes species in the world. There are more than fifty rat snake species in the world and they come in different size and color. My favorite rat snake is the Texas rat snake because they've yellow, gray, or brown coloring with dark stripes across there backs and because they can grow more than seven feet (two meters) long. Rat at snakes have good camoflaugh because of there skin. Rat snakes live in many areas of the world like North and South America, Asia, and on islands. Rat snakes are good hunters but they are nocturnal that means they usually hunt at night. Rat snakes can climb well on walls and trees because they use their bodies to go between cracks to hang on. There ability to climb allows them to hunt birds in trees or find eggs in nests. Rat snakes usually eat rats and birds.
