STAR STUDENT REVIEWS

MOSTLY GHOSTLY: ONE NIGHT IN DOOM HOUSE
by R. L. Stine

The book that I read is a book everyone should read. It's called Mostly Ghostly: One Night In Doom House. And the author of the book is R.L. Stine.

Tara and Nicky died and they were looking for their parents who also died. No one knew why they had died. They went to go look for their parents at the diner where they went to eat every Saturday. They looked in the very back where they always sat, but their parents weren’t there. So they went to sit down. Nicky told Tara to go get something for them to eat because they were hungry. He was scared to because he thought that someone would see the bowls floating without anyone carrying them and he thought everyone would scream. Tara came back with soup but, as Nicky had thought, everyone screamed and ran out. So they went back outside to go looking for their parents again on that cold winter night. They stopped by Max’s house, their best friend and he was the only one that could see them, to see if he would help them on their trip to find their parents. When they got there he said that he would. They searched everywhere in the house that they lived in, at parks, stores, and everywhere else you can think of! And they approached this evil spirit and Max was going to fight it, but the evil spirit was too strong and it hurt Max badly. So that is why they never go to see their parents again.

I liked the book because it was mysterious, and I was wondering what was going to happen next through out the story.

I really liked the book and I think that I would read another book about Mostly Ghostly stories. And I didn’t really like the ending because they never did get to find their parents. But I think other people should read this book too.
